How do you make your products?

Avant Habits are designed in London and finished by mostly local artisans. Our collections change with the seasons and we number the editions. Once we’ve finished an edition, it’s gone! Even when we re-issue a design, it’s a newly numbered edition, so you’ll know you are part of a special collection.

Why do you have pre-orders?

We make limited editions to order in small batches directly with our manufacturers. They are independent businesspeople like us. We quickly ship product that we already carry in-house and offer others for pre-order. You can find estimated dispatch timing on each product page. When your order ships, we will send you a tracking number, which will keep you up to date (outside the UK only).

How are your products sized?

They are European sized, so US sizes are a size smaller (European Large is US Medium). But the different styles come in different slim, regular and relaxed fits. You can find the size guide here and on each product page. If you have any questions, feel free to contact us at help@avanthabit.com.

Do you carry large and plus sizes?

We are working with our suppliers to bring a broader range of sizes because art is for everyone. Period.

How do you ensure ethical production?

We’re makers and doers who work with our hands as much as our heads to change our corner of the world. We source organic and fair labor certified materials to the best of our ability. We work with independent businesses where we can.

We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, Apple Pay, PayPal and Venmo.

We’ve partnered with an independent order fulfilment company that focuses on independent businesses. Outside the UK, our shipping does include tracked, signed delivery with a premium carrier with all customs forms taken care of.

Exchanges or Returns

We hope you love your purchase. Please contact us at help@avanthabit.com with your name and order number if you have questions about your order or would like to exchange or return your purchase. 

If you’re not completely satisfied, you must contact us within 14 days of receipt and return the items within 14 days of contacting us. We accept returns on all items in a resalable condition complete with any tags. The item must be unworn and in original condition.

You are responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Original order shipping costs are non-refundable. If you are shipping an item over £50, it may be worth considering using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance as we cannot guarantee that we will receive your returned item.

How do I purchase a gift card?

Our gift cards are sent to you as a digital code, not a physical card. When you select a gift card and add it to the card, you will be asked whether you want an email or .pdf sent directly to the recipient or sent to you to give to the recipient at another time.

Gift cards can be used for any product and cover any part of the purchase total, including taxes and shipping. The full value of the gift card will be applied. If a gift card does not cover the full total, the remainder can be paid using an additional payment method.

Gift cards never expire and they are non-refundable.
